China and Britain are increasingly interdependent and becoming a community of shared interests, Chinese President Xi Jinping said Tuesday while addressing both Houses of British Parliament.

20日，国家主席习近平在英国议会两院发表讲话时表示，中英两国正变得愈加相互依靠，成为利益一同体。

习近平指出，在我对英国进行国事访问的第一天，我深切感觉到中英关系的蓬勃朝气（the vitality of China-UK relations），领会到两国人民的深厚情谊（the profound friendship between our peoples），使我对通过这次访问推进中英友好关系迈上新台阶（a new height）充满期待。
